Enabling Data Connectivity in InventoryPlus Desktop

To start connecting your desktop data to Online InventoryPlus, follow the step-by-step instructions below.

NOTE

Prerequisite: Ensure your InventoryPlus Desktop subscription includes Premium online features and your computer is connected to the internet.

Step-by-Step Setup:

  1. Online  Data Connectivity Configuration:
    • In InventoryPlus Desktop, navigate to the top menu and select Settings ➔ Online Feature.
    • The InventoryPlus Online window will appear.
  2. Enable Online Features:
    • Click the Enable InventoryPlus Online button.
    • Confirm the prompt asking if you wish to activate online connectivity.
    • The system will establish a secure connection to the cloud service.
  3. Automatic Data Safeguard & Volume Inspection:
    • During enablement, InventoryPlus Desktop automatically performs an initial dataset check (verifying total products, account heads, and transactions).
    • If your system contains an unusually large dataset exceeding recommended operating bounds, Remote Access Guard will notify you and optimize data connectivity to maintain store performance.
  4. Initial Cloud Data Verification:
    • If cloud data already exists for your business registration, InventoryPlus Desktop performs an automatic data integrity check to harmonize local desktop records with existing cloud records.
    • If this is your first time setting up, the system runs an initial full data transfer wizard to upload your products, customers, and opening balance to Cloud.
    • After completing the initial sync data will be available on cloud
