Workorder

       Workorder is a task or job for the customer, that can be assigned to someone. The order may come from customer request for repairing the items or created internally within a organization.

Creating workorder

1. First enable the Workorder in settings->defaults->workorder

2. In Home screen, Select Workorder option

3. Enter date, processed by (which means the repairing products or creating products internally by the worker need to be select in that field), customer       name, status of the work, received date, due date, finished date and particulars

4. You can manually select the source materials(consumption) and target materials(production) OR select the add BOM option (for creating BOM, refer      product details section) to import the BOM to the workorder OR select the Estimation import option to import the estimation bill to the workorder            (For creating estimation, refer estimation section)

5. Select created BOM and qty, OR select the created estimation bill in Estimation import option, it will add to the workorder screen

6. If required add service charge

7. Click on Save to save the workorder

In workorder, Option button is used for,

1. Selecting the number of copies to print, Workorder template, printer and also enabling the print and print preview in settings option

2. Sending the status of the workorder in the form of subject or template to customer through mail or SMS in notification option

Editing the workorder

1. In Workorder, goto Transaction

2. Select the workorder bill by filtering date, customer and bill no, it opens bill in editing mode

3. Edit the bill and click on Save to save the changes

Importing workorder to the sales bill

1. Goto Sales screen, click on Details(F6)

2. There is a option to import the Workorder bill

3. Enter the workorder number and click on Import

4. If stock is present, estimation will import to sales bill

5. Click on save to save the bill

NOTE:

1. If you want to add extra information to workorder, in Note section you can create a template and restore that.

2. After creation of workorder, the products entered in consumption will reduce the stock and products entered in production will added to the stock.
